if it is new I would take it slow, if they limit you and you cant provide the requested documents you could get your funds frozen for 6 months atleast. One trick I have also used is buying gold or silver with the money in paypal then just selling the metals locally, although I only get %97 value on the cash its still safer I think.

I would not transfer more than about 200 every few days on a new account. Make sure u r not transfering out before items have been delivered for a few days

for new accounts start with 50 for 2 days
Then 100 then 200...etc
For the first 3 months, withdraw once every 2 or 3 days

How many days from your last sale and what was the amount? Was feedback and tracking done for all your sales...or off eB?

First withdrawal I would aim for sub 500...but other UK folx have done bigger amounts. Just my own preference given that you have many k`s in it.

Right, and when you withdraw, make SURE that you print out shipping labels or mark the transactions as shipped or shipping soon with tracking, before you withdraw. If there are too many transactions not marked as shipped, or at least shipping soon with a tracking number and you try to withdraw, you will be limited. You have to be tactical withdrawing from paypal, especially on newer accounts due to all of their security risks.

All orders 16 days or older, do the math and withdraw that much. If you go to small you are risking further verification/limitations, If you withdraw to many funds you go into review being new.

My account is super old but my stealth is fairly new and thus far no limitations, I even tried withdrawing on orders 21 days old..... too risky nowadays!!

Some people do daily small amounts but it seemed like the OP is doing a FIRST withdrawal - he should ease into withdrawals

For an account that is very young, too big of a withdrawal is a and then "too Big" really depend on how much you have in your account, usually I withdraw any amount below $500 three times a day if I have that much in the account, keeping too much money in your paypal account is like, trying to commit Financial Suicide and it does not matter if your account is real or stealth, it's in paypal's gene to hold your money down like investment bankers whenever they feel. I have learn to always keep my fingers crossed before going to bed and also have them crossed before logging in to my paypal account the next morning, it's inevitable, just like tax which can not be avoided at least if you live in US, I don't know of other countries.

Pretty good going to have several thousand sitting in a month old account.

Tbh I'm surprised you've been able to amass such an amount given selling limits etc imposed on all new e/b accounts.

You must be selling some pretty high value items.

If I were you I would be looking to get as much out of there asap given p/p's mo with high value/high risk items especially when there have been disputes

my limit was raised to 100 items or £3500 within the first few days after phoning them and have been lucky with my choice of listings that they have all sold pretty quick .

oh the 100 items got cleared at 1st of this month so thats why its so high at the moment .

my account is all legit tho and not stealth so i didnt think i needed to worry but best not leave things to chance just incase and withdraw as much as i can every few days .

Stealth or not, makes no odds to p/p when assessing risk.

Merry XMAS all! I've received small payment ($20) for an item - and would like to access- today via my PP Debit Card. The funds are "on hold" -- the usual BS / standard practice. Last time I was told the account had "no limitations". I have a 100% feedback ratings from ebay customers, 12 sales to date, totalling over $2,000, primarily due to sale of a computer.
Question: Is there any way for me to release my own money today? The Paypal offices are closed. BTW, in the past I have called and requested release - usually its been
done. Also, my funds are not always held after a sale -- but seems erratic, and more often than not! Anyone? Many thanks in advance for any creative suggestions.
