Default What does it mean when a bank transfer says "completed" on my pp account?

From my experience, when the bank denies a pp deposit, it'll continue to say "pending" on pp until it's bounced back to the account. So, if it says "completed" does that mean the bank has approved the deposit?

It means The deposit was successful but until the amount shows up in the account, Your bank can still bounce it back if the want.

If that's the case, then what does it mean exactly when you say the deposit was "successful"?

It means that the amount has reached your bank account but may not be reflected in your available balance for a few days.

But does it mean that the bank accepted the deposit?

Usually, when you submit a withdrawal request on paypal, it takes a day (give or take a few minutes) before it shows as completed, then it's completely out of paypal's hands, so they can not reverse the transaction if anything comes up. Then, it's up to the bank to accept the withdrawal.

If it managed to get to "completed" status, then yes it was accepted by the bank.

It will only show as completed when the bank has accepted .
If once accepted they decide to return is another matter but this wont show on anyones paypal until its bounced back and you start getting messages.
If .. and its a big if ... the bank aint happy it will send it it back to some upstart internet entity ... also known as paypal ..

what i know is , when the status is completed , it means that paypal has done their thing. money goes out from paypal and waiting for bank to accept or deny .
because i also had the similar issue a long time a go .
i submitted wrong bank account in my case wrong bank code number. and then after 24 hours it's completed. i was happy because i thought that i would see the money in few days.
but after 5-6 days i didn't see the money .
in the 7th day morning i got the email ACH WITHDRAWAL DENIED. and in that email they stated that i submitted incorrect bank account information and they couldnt process .
the money returned to my paypal account then.
