Good question. Can't you just filter the sales transactions for a date range from jan 1?

I was sure in pp you could print out a data sheet of your transactions...I cant go into pp on this computer/user account but maybe I can pull up the link later. Sorry.

PP has all kinds of tools to use for sure.

hi there,

from what i've been doing which I hope is right is go to history - reports - monthly sales report then starting from january add up all your payments received before paypal fees are taken out.

I believe this is correct, has anyone else done this method?

Yes, I do. The "sales report" is gross dollars coming in and the figure that is used for calculating the 1099. Add all 12 months up and it should match the figure on the 1099.

FYI, PayPal policy updates state individual accounts will receive their 1099 electronically, while business accounts (EIN) will receive their 1099 in the mail.

As long as my savings keeps growing and I can keep buying like I do I know I am making money.

Working multiple accounts I print out a monthly sheet for each account.

I used to use excel to keep track of every item but can no longer do that. It would be impossible.

As long as each account shows me in the plus every month and my bank accounts keep growing even though I buy almost every day I am good to go.
