Default Limit increases question

I have a few relatively new accounts that I started and was just wondering when exactly limits started increasing for most people? I know there's the 90 day rule and I've heard a variety of opinions on whether its 90 days from registered seller or 90 days from first sale date.

For example, if I have an account that I registered as a seller october 15 and first sale date is november 15, when could I actually expect the limits to go up assuming I max out the items sold, 100% positive FB. And I'm guessing the limits don't actually increase in the middle of the month as we have to wait until the first of the month as well right?

It's usually on the increase date AFTER 90 days AFTER your first successful sale. A successful sale is when you received payment, so a non-paying bidder doesn't count.

Have seen 90 days from first end of sale date but other folx will contribute their experiences.

That makes sense. And should the ebay account be LINKED to the paypal account for the increase to happen?

(when I say linked I mean literally going on your ebay seller account and going through the steps to link the ebay to paypal and not merely accepting payments on a verified paypal)

No does not have to happen. Some folx have said it helps to secure eB by linking but there is a lot of justification in not linking them both physically.

They ARE linked automatically once you start receiving and making payments.

Default Limits

I have yet to figure out a rhyme or reason to it, I have gotten some accounts where I never had a seller limit even from day one, some accounts take 30, 60 or 90 days.

There's probably some check equations on pp side OR its it could be a random rule like for every 5th account created X and X limits are imposed - who knows? Just keep experimenting

I think it may be that the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info I provided is similar enough to a real person or something like that
