Default Withdrawing from Paypal with AMEX

Hi, everybody first post, I usually can find most of my answers by browsing but I have found no luck. I wanted to use an AMEX prepaid to withdraw my paypal funds.

I'm not limited
I'm in the US.

From what I have read, its 50/50 but a lot of those posts where older/outdated.

Hmmm, Is the paypal account stealth?

Which AMEX prepaid card are you referring to? The College amex, the bluebird, or which?

I have used the bluebird and another blue prepaid amex card ( directly from their site) and have had no problems. (the paypal accounts were stealth, but similarly named to my real name attached to the AMEX.

I also did low amounts of withdrawals-- nothing over $150 (my personal experience, they go smoother, but then I don't do transfers much higher)

Thanks for the response, I was not really sure what card to use. It is a stealth account that does not have any of my real info attached to it. I'm glad to hear it works. Will there be a problem since the names do not match or do you think I'm in the clear as long as I'm withdrawing small amounts.

Most banks will allow withdrawal in different names - now you are trying to withdraw to prepaid card...some cards have issues with that.

turkeyhunt has said he has had some success but names were similar.

There are banks at every corner in the USA, why muck around withdrawing to prepaids?

That, and opening bank accounts sometimes require hard credit checks, which in turn can hurt your credit. I would have no problem opening a bank account just looking for other options.
