Default Receive your funds from paypal in your bank faster. Advice.

I would like to share a little tip I Discovered when transffering your funds into your bank account, here goes -

When you go into the options to move your money to bank you will get to a screen that says funds will appear in your bank within......(it varies I find)

At this stage don't confirm it, go back using your browser and then when you agree again you will find the time it takes has been reduced, normally reduces it to 2 hours for me.

There have been times when I have had to wait nearly a week before they appear but since using this strategy funds are in my bank the same day.

Hope this helps some of you.

How long do you leave the money in paypal before you attempt to use this method?

I have had the time go up even higher when I have done that. So I stop before I get too far ahead of myself.

I take whatever profits I have made every Tuesday so it can be the day before/same day, I don't think it matters.

Quite possibly yes. Worth a shot though next time you go to transfer money accros, just see how long it says it will take, then go back and then into it again, I bet the amount of time it takes will change.

I tried this just now, amount of time didn't change, it said 3-4 business days like always. I went back 3 or 4 times. Doesn't seem to work in the US.

It wouldn't work in the US because you don't have the "sometimes" security reviews that we do in the UK. For you it's just the standard 3-4 day processing time to go from "pending" to "completed" without a review taking place.

Really? Very strange how this works to be honest, I would like to know why it changes. It has never went higher for me, always better.

Do you mind me asking roughly what values of money do you transfer?

no problem, Im not a big seller at the moment, the reason I joined this forum is to get more accounts to sell more items. I only withdraw £200-£300 every week. Are you more then I presume? Maybe it only works with up to certain amounts.

Nice little trick for the UK.

As for your question Bunneh, I would say it depends on making sure the funds are free (item delivered, feedback left).

It's always the same for me. It SAYS 3-4 days, but it is actually less. It takes EXACTLY 24 hours from the time you request the withdrawal until the withdrawal will show "complete". 24 hours to the second.

I try to time my money requests to before 9pm PST. If I do that, it shows completed at that same exact time the following day...then I receive the funds in my bank account at midnight. It is always the day after it shows completed. BUT during that 24 hour period, they can reverse the transfer and nail you...they can process the request much faster if they wanted to, but they take the full 24 hours so they can scrutinize if they want...reverse the transfer then limit your account.

After it shows completed and they limit your account, the funds still hit your bank account...had that happen couple weeks ago. The funds that showed completed went through, but I had two transfers that got reversed when the account got limited, with just a couple hours left of the 24.

I believe in the US, your money would show up in your bank on day 2 if you withdraw before 4pm PST.
It shows that complete after 24 business hours.

ya, my deposits takes 2 days. pretty fast. Although I remember 10+ years ago I would move money between banks and it would only take a day. I dont understand this 3-5 day BS.

If my money always got here in 3 days I would be ecstatic.

If you withdraw on a Friday it can take 5 days to get funds.

First PayPal plays games with your money, then the Banks play the hold game.

2 hours is insane.
