Default Listing an Item??

So today when i go to list an item,
I get the following message :

Attention:
To keep eBay safe, eBay reviews the accounts of members who are actively selling with multiple user IDs. While your accounts are being reviewed, you won't be able to sell with any of your accounts.

To begin the review of your accounts so that you can start using eBay again, Call us to speak with an eBay Customer Support agent. Please have a list of all your eBay user IDs available

We'll review your accounts and get in touch with you to let you know when you're able to sell on eBay again or if we need more information.

Is this just put in place to try and catch you out? Or is my account toast

@Bunneh, any clue of how they could have linked you? Do you have multiple eBs attached to one PP?

Sometimes this can be a generic message meant to cause you problems...time to call I would say or contact.

Omg! Terrible news, I would just carry on as normal if I were you, as you say you dont know what account it might be, anf you dont want to give anything away.

Hope you get it sorted anyhow.

Call ebay pretend to be dumb and say i dont know how this could be. Play on your words ebay reps are not that smart use some reverse psychology and save yourself some time by finding which one. They will tell you the name or user.
Say something like this has to be an error
This has to be somekind of mistake with your system
Give it a try
It works did this a few times

@TizWoz, thanks but actually I am trying to get more info so I can analyze.

@Bunneh, but if your accounts are still selling....it really does sound like a glitch. Hope you wont get suspended but all you can do is wait right now.

Yea im not to bothered about the account that the message is on.
Some of my accounts are a lot older than this one. So i dont mind losing it.
Although i have started another 2 accounts since this message, just in case LOL

And im to paranoid to call ebay.. knowing me i will probably end up making it worse
As i have been burnt in the past with these phone calls, so i vowed never to do it again!

Sounds a smart move but could actualy be a dumb one.

You need to find out whats going on first, find out which accounts are linked and why, otherwise the NICE NEW accounts you have created are going to go the same way, you could have already linked them, just by createing them now.

Seriously.

Right but if his account has not been suspended than it could be a glitch. I would not call up eB though yet.

Well its a new month and have listed on most of my accounts fine today, leaving a few in case they are linked.

I know i should call ebay like you say, but i dont want to make matters worse by calling them.

The message in top post clearly states that i wont be able to sell on linked accounts to this one, and i dont seem to be having any problems listing on the others at the moment.
