Default Vanillavisa no longer working for paypal verification

FYI:

Just tried two cards starting with 4847 3543 . . .

These are the 25$ cards with the purple packaging with the silver ribbon.

Neither would work. 2 days ago I used a card with the same range and it worked, so paypal just made the change. If anyone else has a similiar problem, feel free to confirm. Until I hear differently, I won't be buying anymore of these vanillavisa's.

Maybe tomorrow I will buy one of the $25 with the silver packaging and see if it works.

I was able to find a different giftcard that did work (it wasn't a vanillavisa), so there are still options. Just giving a heads up.

It's all about number sequence and expiration date folks. This goes on every year. Keep up with the newest dates and all is well. Stop creating false rumors and confusing people.

These cards do not expire until they are expired. They are fine as long as not expired.

Both cards were 7/21 the card I used two days earlier was also a 7/21 with similar number sequence and worked.

I suspect that paypal has blocked the sequence because the odds of getting two cards declined in a row are slim. I also just received a pm by another user who had the same problem.

You guys are using the wrong vanilla's, the $25 ones with the silver/purple packaging most of them haven't been working for ages now, the ones that you can load $20-$500 like one vanilla, vanilla bill pay, vanilla online shopping everyone of those works I've used 100's.

Vanilla Visa Gift Cards - Consumer Tips - YouTube

The above is the correct card.

I purchase at Walgreens for $4.95 + $20.00 on the card.

Go online to the site and register the Zip Code for the Address you plan to use and you're ready to go: https://www.vanillavisa.com/accountH...CZoqFIgP9ht01F

I used a silver Vanilla Mastercard yesterday, $25 value 5/20 exp and it worked. BTW, what do you do with the card after verifying it on PP? Can I feel free to spend it or do I need to keep it around for more PP stuff?
