Was along the lines of 20 sales and 100 feedback or so - check other posts here but I will come back once reconfirmed. But hold can be placed again at any time.

90 days from your first sale, then eBay will tell PayPal to drop the hold. But at any point after that, PayPal can decide on their own to put it back on.

I get some random releases after 60 days but usually after 90 you will see it go if you have good dsrs, fb etc.

Provide a good product and service and it will pay off.

It is 90 days...ebay notifies paypal to place the hold. Once item shows delivered, you get your money 3 days after. There are ways around the 21 day hold though.

Only true for the first 90 days... any holds after that are due to PayPal and PayPal only.

I assumed he was talking about the initial 21 day hold on funds. Of course paypal can place holds on your funds at any time it wants.

I dont get 21 day holds on any new account at all.

Usually a few days after delivery I see the money released on new accounts.

I cannot remember the last time money was held for 21 days.

Thats a hold nonetheless - waiting on confirmation of delivery...thats what lifts the hold

paypal changing its mind and re-applying holds is going to be a thorn in your side.
You should be aware of that happening right from the start of doing business and having to be a slave of paypal.

Soon as you can, earn paypal's trust to hope your account is spared.

Also be aware that a rolling reserve can be put on your paypal funds.

I mention that to spare you horrible surprises.

Reserve is put on new GC merchant accounts. Not ALL, but if you do a substantial amount of transactions, it may be. As for me, $1500 reserve right now but I have done $30,000 in the last 3 months through GC. But I passed the 60 day new merchant period, put on the normal pay schedule, etc. Paypal has yet to put a reserve on me but it CAN happen. It can happen with ANY merchant for that matter.
