Will my account be suspended

Hi There,

I use a few eBay accounts and administer them with an internet dongle. Mainly because a year or so ago i had an account suspended on my broadband connection.

However tonight i accidentally connected to my broadband connection instead of the dongle and signed into eBay. I realized my mistake within a few seconds and closed my internet explorer and logged off the connection.

Do you think that my eBay account is now at risk?

If your cookies, history and flash (LSO's) were all cleared then it won't hurt anything. I have done it before. Just be more careful next time.

ye i immediately disconnected it, cleared my history, cookies e.t.c.
even deleted the user account and created a new one :-)

One off episode like this should not be a problem

It's a problem for our nerves at the time, however.

I've done this a few times & survived.

Is youir broadband connection via ethernet cable? For future, take the steps to avoid repeating

As GB stated...one time is unlikely to cause issues

Especially when you catch it right away, no issue. If you start doing it repeatedly it may become an issue. I caught it as soon as I hit log in...then closed browser, ran CCleaner, etc

And throw coffee over the monitor.

Couple of times I have just pulled the power cord out too.

haha I could quickly restart my PC by turning the monitor off and on again phew safe!

Seriously though thanks for responding. Its good to know that i'm prob still safe after my blunder :-)
