Default Google Voice safe to use?

Hey everyone - is Google Voice safe to use for eBay Stealth account verification? Is there anything I should watch out for when using Google Voice, or do you recommend another way entirely for phone verification? Thanks in advance.

Google Voice is safe to use; only thing you'd have to worry about is the recycling of numbers. Also, I found it helpful if you go to your settings --> options, and turn off call screening so it goes through as a real number when somebody calls. Hope that helps!

Basic rule of thumb. Never use any service that recycles numbers.

I used to use vumber, until one time I got a number that was actually issued to me before.

There's probably dozens of stealth users who are pissed off for getting their accounts linked to some of my old accounts with vumber.

Personally, I only use tracfone, but that's just me.

@sacka, since you are in US you have a tone of options - Tracfone is nice

But you know it's bad when you get your own recycled number using a different stealth name and credit card.

Maybe google voice isn't as bad as others, but I would definitely eliminate vumber from the list.

Flynumber is great here. Google voice is okay though, but both providers sometimes give you recycled number. That's why it is recommended to log everything.

Not for US members. I advise a TracFone. You can switch to a Google voice number down the line. But to start off the TracFone is the safest way to go. 4-5 months down the road lets say you have 50-60 seller feedback switch to Google Voice. But TracFone is the way to go for new stealth accounts. It does cost more but you have to spend money to make money. You may be able to get away with it but I would rather be safe than sorry. It is a pain to register an account get a PayPal with a bank account etc. Don't cut corners starting out.

I use Tracfone also, but when you have 30+ accounts it's a hassle to have all those phones.

I think Flynumber forwarded to Tracfone works well.

Few sites you can google to buy a bunch of numbers for a decent price - always chance of recycling though so Tracfone is an excellent choice.
