This just recently happened to me. Sold a $250 item with tracking and signature confirmation. Put the tracking number into Amazon as soon as I got home from the Post Office. 3 Days later, package is confirmed delivered.
The next day, the customer files an A-Z claim saying it was never delivered even though the package was signed for, with THEIR NAME. I opened a case with amazon explaining it was delivered to their address and signed for with their name assuming that it was obvious I was being scammed and Amazon would side with me.
But no, Amazon closed the case and initiated an immediate refund to the buyer.
I would try to fight it but even the most obvious evidence isn't conclusive to Amazon.
