Will Amazon accounts be linked if registered with my credit cards issued by different banks? Could you please provide your thoughts on why they will be linked together or why they won't? Thank you!

Yes they will if both cards are registered to your name and address.

In this thread, rsot stated that, "You make SURE to change your billing address to match the address you use for PP. Name is INCONSEQUENTIAL - you can put whatever name is on the pp account. "

Does the same trick apply to Amazon?

First off that's paypal. Unlike amazon they sometimes send out post to confirm the address. Also they are talking about making sure your paypal and ebay account match. That does not mean they are your genuine real life details, just that the details you do put match for both websites.

As for amazon you can pretty much make up a seller/ buyer name and address and use a virtual credit card which can confirm the made up address. If you use a legit card then amazon can see the address it is registered to and the name. If the details match the card on a previous suspended account you will be banned.

Are you sure? According to wikipedia, the AVS checks only the name and numeric portions of the address. I assume that "numeric" includes letter and number codes for countries that have letters in their postal codes.

Yes. These are the absolute basics of stealth and if you two don't know that you need to do a lot more research before attempting to open an account. Not to be rude but if you have not learnt this then you are going to make mistakes and ruin good bank accounts/ credit cards.

Sorry, still a bit confused, do you mean Paypal can't see the name of the credit card it is registered to, but Amazon can?

No. Paypal can also see it but rsot was not talking about using a real credit card, just a vcc where the address is made up.

Ebay and paypal are two separate things. Both require a separate account. However the details on both accounts need to match each other in order for the accounts to work together. That's what I believe rsot meant by saying the details need to match.

Hey chinasale, lets get this clear

The name does not matter - PP and Amazon checks the card by ADDRESS.

Lets say your name is DONT CARE - your Amazon account is under ISELL ANYTHING. As long as the card is registered to the address of the Amazon account, the card will pas for ISELL ANYTHING.

Make sure you understand the workings of AMAZON especially if you are making an account from overseas. You will have to be very careful.

Have you had accounts with amazon before?

Thanks for the clarification, judging by which, can I have this conclusion that if the billing addresses and names are different, Amazon won't be able to link stealth accounts only by credit card, even though they are all my credit cards issued by different banks?

Thanks for the heads up, could you tell me what I should be careful of? I don't have any accounts with amazon before, but one of my friends had, he is also not a US citizen.
