Why would anyone leave a card unactivated?

Are the micro deposits from paypal considered direct deposits? I ask this because I know you can get the routing number and account number before the actual card arrives. Should I wait until the card comes before trying to verify PP?

nvm, I misread it. I though you were saying that you have to register them now in person vs online.

I think PP is ACH transfer not direct deposit.

For some reason my Bluebird card will not link to neither Paypal or eBay. I input the numbers exactly as they appear but it keeps telling me that they are incorrect.

Bluebird is not a "Gift Card", it's sort of like ReadyDebit, and other Cards which offer you a Bank Account with an actual Debit Card.

Note: BlueBird requires Real Name, Address, etc.

I guess it would be cool if I could open up many bluebirds. But being limited to one makes it more of a nuisance than an advantage. To me it's like walking into a bank and them telling me sorry you can only have one acct with us. I'd rather do business with a bank that I can have multiple accts.

I have 4.

2 in my name and 2 in DH name.

Worth it to me.

I clean them out over and over.

I also do business at banks but this just gives me one more set of banks to use.

I have been using BlueBird to have Amazon deposits... no problem there, however, didn't realize that there is a $10,000 spending limit per month on these accounts. So you can deposit $50,000 but take only $10k per month

Few threads going on about this elegant card - just trying to be clear if stealth name deposits work or not - getting mixed posts.

Works fine, back when this started you could sign up for cards with random info and random ss #'s and it worked for awhile.. Until you had to activate the card. I have one of my own that i use on stealths, how do you exactly withdraw funds? I just it on amazon and at the store to buy stuff instead of withdrawing cash. But, say i wanted to take out cash. How do i do that? With my pin at a wells fargo atm ?

I spent 300-800$ at amazon on goods for the house per month, the money isn't going anywhere so i don't really care,. but just in case the atm is needed. i was curious. I think it's wells fargo. yeah?

You can withdraw at any bank but some banks charge $2,$3 to withdraw the cash.
