Activity: 0% Longevity: 74% | | Found out I can still sell with limited paypal account?
My paypal account was just limited and funds will be relisted in 180 days, my eBay account is fine, but before I decided open a new stealth account, I tried selling one more thing. Even though my paypal account was limited, I still received the payment and my funds will be released in 180 days. Should I go crazy and sell as much as I can on this account till they release my funds after 180days?

The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!

Could do but probably not the best thing to do as buyers could scam you and seen as your account in limited, you couldn't really do much to stop them (not that we can away)
Best option is to try it out for a week (don't go mad) then report back.
All the best.

After that period, your pp will be blocked for good.
Nothing new here.

Well, the funds in my account increased from $200 to over $1000 today, Just sold 5 vero items. It seems that even though paypal has "banned" me I can still sell for the next 180 days. I am making sales like normal. After 180 days I will open a new paypal, link it with my eBay, let paypal ban me and rake off 180 days again I guess.

Keep dreaming. My PP was limited and funds frozen for a 180 days. I noticed that the account was still receiving money. Over the next 30 days I continued to sell (not off ebay) and pumped 20k into the account.
PP contacted me and told me they had screwed up and forgot to close my account properly. At that point I could no longer receive additional money.
I'm sure the same will happen to you.

ebay will find out that your paypal is limited.
ebay will stop your little plan. Then they will tell ALL your buyers you have been selling foo-foos and those buyers should put claims in against those now going lower paypal funds. Wait until you find out about this.
You are on the brink of big trouble. You are seriously misunderstanding this game. Do you not understand limitations? It appears not | The Following User Says Thank You to GreenBean For This Useful Post: | |

Well, I guess I should stop and go back to making a new stealth account. Thanks for the input.

I had a limited account allow me to still sell after limited too.
I did keep selling for a few weeks for a few thousand $ then I got scared and stopped selling on that account. I did get it all back after the 180 days though
Good Luck
I should add I was selling legit items.

I haven't had this happen in the past 4 or so years. But if you had items waiting to be paid for still active listings I have sold knowing I was going to get the funds 180 days later. I would not plan on do so more than 10-15 days max after the initial limitation. I would worry about recovering the funds even after the 180 days if I kept selling past that.

But yea, even if PayPal limited you for items they don't like they still give you a window normally to provide supplier invoices and all that other crazy stuff that only once in a blue moon will ever get you reinstated. I mean if you don't care about getting getting the money 180 days later you could presumably sell for a little while. Normally when PayPal has a big limitation you can't even receive funds.

Nothing new here. | can say with any type of certainty what eb or pp will do in any given situation. In my experience I have seen them do some incredibly stoopid things. Some in my favor and some not. NEVER consistant though. It seems like it depends on who there gets the case. Both of my PP accts get limited within hrs. for same reason. Verification and i upload the required info to both at different times from different everything. Well when I call to check 1st csr is so nice and says it will be back on in mins. it was and still on. The 2nd person was so rude and said they were sending everything to a higher level for approval. So we know what happened there and then the linked to my eb acct. fried too. and then linked to other eb acct. because I was not acting in a stealthy manner and never saw it coming. OK, pp acct. is still good but afraid to use it. Had funds clear from an old sale and was able to transfer sucessfully. So how can anybody say what is going to happen? I never leave or put any more than I am willing to loose with a 1/2 hearted smile.
