Default How do you know when accounts are linked?

For those that have had their Amaz Seller accounts linked (and suspended) - How quickly did you find out that they had been linked? Did the accounts last more than a day? a week? a month?

Getting a little scared of this happening to me and not knowing if amaz are on to me!!

It can happen during registration or years down the road.

You'll know as soon as you open your email account you will see an email from AZ saying that you were suspended.

However, the new AZ trend is to simply delete your account when it gets linked.
Keep in mind that AZ is sneaky too. They won't delete your account until you provide some vital information.

EX: your account could be ok seating there with money waiting to be deposited (not currently selling) and everything looks normal, your add a checking account and BAN you are gone

So, if you think that you screwed somewhere and got linked, just don't supply any additional info.

Amazon is fast on linking - if you have been linked, chances are quite good you will be taken down immediately...you cant really plan ahead - its not like PP or eB...with eB or PP you can actually operate for awhile even when you know you are linked

so normally it's pretty quick - like days rather than weeks? I guess as more time goes past, it becomes less likely that you'll get suspended or found out..

Sometimes even seconds an account can be sitting for months and AZ won't do anything but will ban you as soon as you add some vital info, like checking account, ssn, ein etc.

For Amazon, not even a day - you can bet within hours - if not...tops a day or 2 - their system is very advanced.

Sorry wrong, wrong, wrong.

Amazing how you think you know my business and yet you know nothing.

Amazon on both the USA & UK is sweet for me.

How about yourself?

Well, following on from the same topic, if an account does get matched/linked - do both accounts become suspended or only the second one? It's against amazon policy to have more than one account, but do they remove the offending account or treat both accounts the same way?

If you get linked to a suspended account then instant ban. If two selling accounts get linked you will get a warning email that you an sell only on one an have to close the other one. At least it used to be this way.
