Default '*' What Triggers a Spike In Funds in Paypal?

Hey guys,

Let's say you usually have around 1000-2000,
if you suddenly have 5000, is this considered a spike in sales by Paypal's system?

What are the situations if it happens in a day?

If it grows over a month, I suppose it's moe normal yes?

I've had $3000 come in to my paypal in one day selling high risk items.

keep in mind that paypal usually only had 200$.

and was only 90 days old.

I would just say i was lucky i didn't get reviewed.

If it happens in 1 day it "May" cause a problem...but if you gradually increase the amount over 30 days then it might not be considered a huge spike.

The problem is that no one knows how Paypal will take things, I guess in some cases you could say its 50% luck, 50% having a solid account with verified info and zero problems.

I would say if you don't want to attract too much attention, spread out your sales across multiple accounts to be safe.

Lots of ifs and buts with these types of question and there is no definitive answer.

No one on here can tell you if you take $5000 in one day when you normally do $1000 to $2000 per day, what is going to happen.

If it is a US PayPal stealth account 3k in one day with definitely cause a problem. It is all relative for verified accounts. I am not in your country but in general if you are running stealth spread you sales out.

I agree with some other members by saying their is to many ifs and buts to this
question. PayPal is an unpredictable animal and you never really know. Just make sure the
account is solid with working phone numbers ect.

There is no concrete answer - a lot depends on timing, product, source of funding (buyer paying via cc or bank) etc. Anything is possible - i have had spikes of couple k go through without problem

Whatever you do don't withdraw it in one shot or its a goner. Pp is a bit more lenient if you let it sit for a while.
