Default are some az products mis-catagorized?

I noticed alot of products I could sell on az are in catagories that are just for pro, and I do not have a pro acc - any way to get round this. I mean some things are suited to at least 2 catagories...

There are millions of miscategorized products, and those sellers dont last long on amazon. But if you are selling halloween makeup for example. It could go in beauty and costumes, so either would be fine. But if you put it in sporting goods or everything else, then it is only a matter of time before amazon gets ya.

If you go to the category and then choose other, I have been able to get around the limitations using this way. Funny enough an amazon rep told me to do this

no I actually meant the page creator has miscatagorized it in my opinion, or at least it could be better catagorised....but instead it has been catagorized in a pro or restricted catagory - is that deliberate?

so you are saying if it could reasonably go in another catagory then you are safe?
Do you not have to go with the page creators catagory?

i would just think the person who created the page didn't know any better. their system to creating products sucks but it is what it is.
i have only created new pages on products i do not find on amazon, whenever i tried to create a page for an item that already existed it never let me, saying that there was one already there.
i think you can also appeal to amazon to change the listing, they review your suggestion and either make a change or don't, ive been successful with that before but only did it for item title and photo

Are you saying you can create your own listing in a category that you do not have permission to sell in?

no not at all. for example they said to choose the category that fits the product and then choose other instead of choosing a sub category. for some reason the subcategories had limitations but this way did not. i only did it for the category i needed and it has worked so far
