Hi all - some of you may remember me on the boards back in december had my account zapped due to being below standard....At this point in time I have moved on from ebay for the time being - but I had an epitomy today I would like to share with everyone that may help you guys.....
When my account fell below standard back in Sept - I was unaable to get it above standard quick enough so I was banned - what I failed to understand & should have implemented was moving through more volume during this time.
We always say if we could go back in time we could have changed something - classic case would have been mine - if I would have simply bought say a big lot of dads or video games or a lot of cheap easy to sell items that I could start at .99 cents & let them ride simply to build up more 100% positive ratings I believe that I could have saved my account.
The reason I post this is I know there are people on here that may be walking the line between standard and below standard.....think about buying cheap - easy to sell - quick selling items to build up your volume so that way if you got a case or a bad feedback you could still be selling.....
The other thought that occurred to me was sell what you hate so you can sell what actually makes money - think of it like cheap insurance - im sure many of you would have paid several hundred or even $500 more a month to keep your accounts in good standing....I know I would have.......wished I would have realized it sooner & I hope this information helps someone & if it is redundant I am very sorry for posting.

To give you an idea in my case it would have taken me selling 400-500 more items to have saved my account - those would have been sales per month & would have brought my item as described dsrs down to below .50 percent....obviously the items would have to have no issues - so if you could deal with cheap new items or even items you made no money off of - just to move the volume....
I know with many stealth accounts you arent able to list a whole bunch of items...but if you have a stealth that is - or even a legit account....this strategy may work for you....I wished I would have realized this before I was shut down....
You should be selling 1,000s products a month that break even, price wise. This will not only make your account look ridiculously amazing to buyers, but will help your ratings, and will give you the opportunity to sell high priced items that buyer will purchase without hesitation.
