If you have any spare sim cards lying around use them.

Phone numbers going onto eBay Stealth accounts are risky if 'free'.

Number may have been attached to a ruined account.

Too risky

Best to get a bunch of sim cards and a cheap phone, bag and tag them with each account. You don't need to top them up. You can pick them up for £1. I hope this helps.

Most sims can be activated by trying to make an outgoing call. No need to top up anything.

EabayorBust thank you for that..
so if i get a sim put it in an unlocked phone .

switch on , it should find the network without asking me to put money on the account.

i attempt to make a call and it tells me i need to top up or something ?.

The sim will now accept incoming calls. seems like a good system. any particular sim to look for please.

I have been using free voip numbers for stealth and other stuff and have about 17 nunmbers all over the UK

if someone calls them they all forward to one voip number on one phone. voip number to voip number is free

Put the sim into an unlocked phone. Dial a number. Automated voice will say you don't have enough credit and arrange a top up. Phone can now receive incomming calls.

Vodafone and ASDA sims both work like this.

@chrispeacock

If you ever link to ebay, always add a warning.
Just to let others be careful

I just order free ones from Vodafone. Very easy to order them in in matches of 10 or 20 at a time, take only 5 minutes. I must have 400 of the things laying about as I just set up an automated form entry bot and leave it running for a while. Numbers are totally random as well, unlike O2 where they can be just be 1 digit apart sometimes (although this may not be enough to link you I dont risk it)

I would use pay sims, but I live overseas so use virtual phone numbers instead.

I hope eb don't implement technology to detect virtual numbers like Craigslist, IOffer etc

Shhhh
