Default Vanilla Visa Refunds ?

Let's say I purchased something on eBay using Paypal via my Vanilla Visa ($25 prepaid card) to charge the amount. This is something I haven't tried yet, but how does a refund from the seller work? Does the amount go back to the actual Vanilla Visa card as a credit or does it just get placed back into the Paypal Balance as default? I was wondering about purchasing some items totally stealth (without using my own personal credit card) and would want to know if I would have any problems if the situation somehow came up.

Normally, I figure credit card purchases are refunded to the card, but I have no idea how this would apply to debit / prepaid cards. Is it treated any differently?

With the gift cards that I have used on ebay, the refunds go back onto the card.

Actually the money won't go back on the Vanilla Visa...you can't reload those cards.

PP doesnt refund to the card - the balance gets added to your pp account. Yet another way that PP tries to keep the money inside it's own platform

What card are you using? Just curious because I might consider it as an option.

I have had them do both.

Not on the same subject but if you buy something say at wal mart and try to return it and show them the receipt. They will load the amount back on the card and will not give you cash.

Cards cannot be reloaded by us but a vendor can send the funds back to the card in most cases.

We have discussed this between ourselves about how important using credit union are but for those who dont know what NFCU is.

Navy Federal Credit Union.

You have to clear their membership criteria to become a member.

Probably one of the best CU you will find.
