Buyer won't respond to Ebay Buyer Protection Case
I had a buyer that filed a buyer protection case for an "item not received". I did ship the item when the sale was originally made but USPS lost the package. After being notified through the case filling, I shipped out the item again and responded to the buyer that the item was being shipped out. The buyer has now received the item and the ebay buyer protection case now reflects that but the buyer has yet to respond to the case. The case is still open and it has been around 20 days since our last conversation (through the ebay buyer protection case). My question is this: How long does the buyer have to respond to the Ebay buyer protection case if it is currently in the "work it out" phase? I haven't elevated the case since I know that's a bad idea but I want the case to end already. Is there any way for me to end this case as it appears that the buyer as completely forgotten the case is still open.
