Default Help! Selling internationakly with uk ebay account

Hi i was wondering if it is possible, by using a stealth ebay and paypal account, to be based in the uk but register a US ebay account so you can sell on ebay.com, without being verified and waiting the 90 or so days after your first successfull sale, isit it possible to trick ebay into thinking your actually from America, and start selling immediatly internatioanally using stealth? Thanks

Sure, do that.

Expect all the usual things like MC999 and such. Each country has rules it applies to accounts.

Your plan is flawed if you think you can 'trick' ebay.

So much easier to just register on eBay UK THEN log on to eBay.com and sell on the site with your UK info....that way it is all legit. Dont aim at 'tricking' eB - work with their options

Just mark your items as internationally viewable. I think its costs around £0.30. Would be a lot cheaper than paying for a US IP, and then you dont have to worry about the SSN issue if that pops up ever.

Ye jamesnorth and rsot
I would do that but ebay rules state you cant be a new seller and sell internationally or sell on another Countrys site without complying with their requirements which are :

When you sell internationally, you need to make sure that the item you're listing can legally be sold in other countries, as the applicable laws may be different to your own country to sell internationally on eBay, you need to:
Have an eBay account in good standing
Have a Verified PayPal account
Have at least 10 Feedback points from selling
Have had your first successful sale more than 90 days ago
Meet the selling and item requirements of the site(s) where you want your listings to appear
When selling internationally - either by listing on a site different from your site of registration or by selecting an international postage option - your item may be sold to a buyer on another eBay site.

Before allowing you to sell internationally, we may ask you to sign an International Selling Agreement acknowledging that items sold to buyers on other eBay sites are subject to the policies of those sites, including their eBay Buyer Protection policies.

So yes just wondering if you could register it as an american account somehow and skip all those requirements

Dont see whats so hard about those requirements....verified PP and 10 sales with feedback and you are good to go. Dont skip steps for quick sales - build your accounts up.

You appear to be misunderstanding that there are still rules on another site.

ebay, regardless of the selling platform, is not easy.

You are already behind the 8-ball with your approach.

Where's the info about a USA IP, USA Address, USA bank account?

Not read that so I wonder if you have even thought that out
