Reusing shipping address

I asked before but since i am not suscribed i can't see the answers :( hopefully this does not get moved to the sus section but let me ask anyways...i need a shipping address for my stealth , can I reuse a shipping address that was used on a previously banned account for shipping purposes only, never for registration info....?

If you use the same address for "Return" Address, It is possible for sure. Personally I have a Buying Account which is not been banned so I use that address for shipping address.

You mean just physically use it as a return address on your boxes to be mailed? I dont see such a big problem with it - just never enter it into PP or eB platforms...registration info or any other kind of info fields...

So long as its never entered into PP or EB then you will have no issue. Put the return address on a card inside anything you post, or externally on any package you send.

i always email buyers when they ask for a return and that is the only place I put my real return address

For me I use the RETURNS DEPT way.

In my directions I tell them the item must be returned to the RETURNS DEPT at 123 main st anytown usa or it will not be given credit. Please send me a message for my returns dept address etc etc.

I then send them the address to their EMAIL and not through ebay messages.

Not sensibly.

There is always the chance that address will turn up and be 'caught' by paypal.


Pay attention to Sandy's post.

Control how you get your items. Her method works with a lot less hassle than the worry of an old address showing up on a label & being detected by ebay/paypal.

I did my own study. Absolutely will link you. Alot of people think that ebay only uses its " bots " to search previously used "registered" ebay addresses. They will search any you enter into ebay or paypal. I did test with 14 accounts like 2 years ago. Also called from new phone number not registered to anything ever. And 6 months later. "IC Systems"called it , asking about delibquent ebay fees. Lol. Only one random call and they assiciated it. I knew they would. But i dont ask questions. I like to help others out and find answers by trial and error for non obvious things
