Increasing Limits

So ive been reading on this forum that the cardinal rule is not to call to have limits increased.

What is the trend that ebay increases limits.

Meaning, if now im at 100-$5K, what will my next increase be? And what will the increase after that one be?

Also, which time of the month does ebay increase limits?

That's a proper how long is a piece of string question.

Why?

You do not say if you are selling to your limits at the moment, the age of the account, feedback etc etc.

A little more info might help with replies, please.

No guarantees when it comes to increases, just make sure you sell to your limit each month and eventually they will be increased.

eBay increases limits on solid activity and good performance - when and how much is difficult to know exactly.

nobody here can tell you exactly how much your limits will be raised, all we can say is list to limits and ship quickly

There is not trend to what ebay ever does.

You can have a 2 year old account with 100% and all 5.0 and never see a major increase or you can have a 6 month old account and see major increases like crazy.


Toss a dart, its ebay.

Just keep the dsrs up, ship fast, communicate, do everything well and hopefully you will see them.

so from what it sounds, it is not an automated system. There isnt a threshold or anything. Its just based on someone randomly reviewing your account and deciding whether you deserve an increase.
Am i correct?
