Default Ebay scammer. Escalated to ebay the same day case was open. Refunded?. Wtf.

So i printed the shipping label and included tracking to him on day 1. Tracking states delivered. Buyer never contacted me for tracking like it said in the dispute. he already had tracking the moment it shipped. Dispute last 1 day!! and then ebay refunded him without letting me defend myself. This is obviously a scam and now they want 70$ from me. The damn item was delivered. Is there anything I can do?. This is a stealth account.

Also was there ANYTHING i could do to prevent this in the future. i mean wtf. I could make a living doing this scam if I wanted. I dunno how he just automatically got his money back like that. wtf is this... Sorry mad.

He probably IS a scammer, but all you can do is pay eBay the $70 if you want to keep the account.

Haven't had one of these in awhile.
You should have an option to appeal unless they changed that.

And why would you edit the dates?

Dates are the same. Yes ebay had the tracking. the times on the dates are what i eddited and ebay number ticket he called in with
.
Only reason the refund didn't go through was because I had to update my payment method first.. Case is closed. can I still appeal it or maybe after I refund it?.

I don't see appeal anywhere. all I see is "Pay Now" Ebay policy even says that you can appeal it but honestly I have checked the whole site and came up with no such option.

It also seems to be asking me to add a credit card and won't let me just use my bank accounts or paypal anymore. I guess sense it already tried.

I'm not sure but I'm guessing Ile have to pick up another 100$ prepaid card?. Also do you think emailing ebay would be beneficial?.

Default What happens if i dont reimburse. banned?, 70$

What happens if i don't reimburse ebay for out of pocket refund**.

Does anyone have any experience here. i heard they will try to collect it but I'm thinking about simply not paying. I'm pissed. The item had tracking and everything. Case was closed 1 day after it was opened and buyer was refunded. I was scammed and ebay didn't give a crap about me. Didn't let me appeal like their policy said. It's lies.

Will I be banned, limited?. I'm a seller with 12 thousand in sells on this account. They want me to add another credit card. they won't even let me use my bank account as I'm sure you guys know.

Anyway thank you on this issue not paying reimbursement.

For $70 you will throw away all the very hard work you have done to get that high feedback?

For $70 you will risk losing all of this year's work?

If you can not afford the $70, then stop doing this business.

NOW: I understand how annoyed you are. I think you are on the wrong side of this deal 1000%. Get that right now. ebay has treated you badly.

I can not, in good faith, say ignore the request. You have to be realistic.

Being pissed over $70 is going to cost you thousands more dollars long term.

Pay the funds.... move forwards.

You have the ability to do this.

So eB only stuck you for $70 right? You were saying at one point that there was a partial refund then a full refund on top of it...if in the end it's only $70 (the cost of the item), just let it go - like others have indicated...not worth losing your cool and your account over.

I have another established ebay account that's stealth and I'm working on a third and a 4th and I have 2 amazon accounts. I thought long and hard about it and decided they can go screw themselves. I'm not paying. Ive recently also been hit with alot of stuff financial wise and things were gettign better and I got hit with this. I'm not taking it.

Ebay may not ban me or do anything because it's only 70$ and I will be making them thousands unless they ban me. It would be horid business. We will see what happens.

I don't care let em block it. And I hear there is no definite course of action. People were selling for months without reimbursing. Nothing happened.

Do what you are comfortable doing.

Be aware you might get blocked.

Your choice.

As long as you have backups - which you have shown - then go for it and accept what comes. All the best
