i just want to share my experience from today
2 months ago at the same time i got 5 eb accs suspended on the same day
i was selling very good using them for about 4 months.
i am almost sure it was not a linking problem since i operate many others
at the same time and they are all fine. these 5 were selling different
variations of an item
these were 3 months old at that time, 7 months old at the time of
suspension. each month maxing the $ limits, not qty. on that day all
received mc067 and mc999, eb suspended, listings canceled, current and
past listings all went down, accs appeared as blocked. i was lucky to get
only few disputes on all which i was able to handle...so no fees owed, no
paypals below 0.
i thought these accs are dead and nothing can be done to get them back,
and this is because few days later i logged on one and tried to chat about
what is the problem, been told final decision, no reason for me to know, just
"bye bye"... so i continued with my backups and so on....forgot about these.
i had only one dispute on one account which stayed and needed to be
resolved. the buyer tried to scam me.
they got their item about 2 weeks before the acc got suspended and once
it did, on the very next day they opened a non receipt dispute..even though
the tracking was showing delivered for some reason ebay decided in their
favor maybe because i did not reply into the case but i did not because
everything was in there, i mean tracking and all.
anyway today i woke up to receive a message that ebay charged one of my
pps for the amount of that dispute and i was really pissed off to find they
decided in buyer's favor even though the tracking shows delivered...and the
money was gone which i was really going to withdraw today since all the
pps are fully working till today...
if it wasnt that unresolved dispute, i would have never tried again to
get any of these accounts back.
i decided to have a chat with CS, explained everything i was guided to write
an email with all the details and have been told this should be fixed
easily..anyway if they dont fix it, i will just do a charge back and provide all
the details to my bank.
since the CS representative seemed very well behaving, helpful and kind
i though just to ask why i am not able to use my acc and is there
any problem with it, amazingly this time i was told they just need me to
provide id, proof of address and invoices which i had ready because i did
provide the same to paypal 2 months ago.
guess what, 5 minutes later, the account was back into my hands, fully
restored.... just now, about 3 hours later i did the same with another of
these accounts, been told to submit the same documents, just this time i
was told to give invoice for the items listed, i told that i dont have anything
listed because the account is blocked...and the funny part is that they said
ok, send in just the id and proof of addr, few mins later this acc is back
online.
so my conclusion is to try from time to time, 2 months ago i was told
there is no chance for getting any of these back, community safety and so
on you know all that....today, id, address and invoice...and all is fine.
and something else, not each time eb will want you to submit documents
just to have all your info banned...today was a great example.
sorry for too long, i just wanted to share what i have experienced so any of
you who are wondering about anything similar, have my words in mind..
i cant promise you anything, but to give it a try in the way i did, cant hurt.
