 Recovering funds sent over 3 months ago?
Ok, recently i had an idea to get my paypal out of the red.
The reason it is in the red in the first place, is because i was scammed.. basically i sold something for an online friend, for a cut.
So i sold the virtual item, for £250.00. I sent £200.00 to the friend, and kept £40.00, as promised.
About 28 days after i had recieved the money from the buyer, he did a chargeback, and won. Leaving my account -£257.00. I immediatly got the friend to recover the virtual goods, so i could resell them and get my paypal out of the red, wich he did. I guess the temptation got to him, and he decided to run off with the virtual goods, leaving me -£257 in debt with paypal, by this time i didn't think i could open a dispute, because 30 days had passed.
Well now i'm asking you guys, if theres anyway to recover that £200.00 that was sent to the "friend" if the transaction was made, 15 Jan. 2008, 5 months later. Could i claim that my account was compromised, and ask for the money back? His account should be in the red, not mine!
