Wait till shipping shows delivered, even better if the buyer leaves positive feedback.

Then I would withdraw slowly from the 300, and never withdraw the same amount over and over.

75 the first time, then 50, then 30, then 60 etc.

I would also recommend not withdrawing it all, leave some $.

Always leave money in your Paypal , leave ur fees, money for shipping your next items and some money for a refund maybe the average of one product. So if u sell 10 items at 100 and have $1000 in ur Paypal leave $100 for refund, $100 for fees, and money for the next 10 items shipping lets say 10 small flat rate priority boxes so roughly $60( just an example) so if there was $1000 in sales I'd leave $260 in the account.

Now withdrawling I'd use as described in last post , little at a time and after feedback

Slow and easy withdraws.

Leave enough to cover a few disputes, shipping and fees.

Do not try a large sum, always smaller ones.

"ASAP" is a definable term - on a new account, not recommended to move money without it being free and clear - item delivered, positive feedback are examples

Withdraw when there is safety.

Do not be greedy with the amounts.

Leave some funds for paypal to feel 'happy'.

I always get that nervous feeling in my stomach after hitting the submit button when withdrawling to my bank account. It's amazing all this fear and uncertainty that ebay and Paypal create from something as simple as withdrawling your own money into your own account. It's like playing chess you need to think 25 moves ahead before doing anything on Paypal or ebay

Actually, it really depends on how new your account is. If your account is pretty established, you can withdraw most of that money within hours of the SAME DAY. I have done it many times without incident.

This is how it works. Let's say you have an established account and you sell an item on ebay and the buyer pays you immediately. Mark the item as SHIPPED BEFORE you do anything with that money. Give it a few hours, then you can withdraw it. And don't go withdrawing all of the money either, since that would be a red flag. Then after, make sure all is well with the sale and that it shows delivered AND that the buyer is satisfied. You follow those steps, and you can withdraw as frequently as you want. Make sure your items get delivered though, because if people start opening cases and they see you frequently withdrawing, they will limit your account.

Agree on account establishment but when the OP asks this basic question...it is likely he/she is dealing with a new account, never having done withdrawals before...

Good info.

I even do the withdrawls in 'odd' amounts. $75, then 59, then 87 etc.

Really vary things.

For established Stealth accounts I have a rule. I always leave at-least $1k in the PayPal for each one. Probably more than I need to especially now with the 1099k law in the US. But I make sure I can cover eBay fees, disputes and or charge backs without any concern. I think it is part of the reason why I have been able to keep all my stealth accounts for so long without any major issues.

I view it like a Security Deposit when you rent. A show of faith that I am not going to mess things up and try to take the money and run.

I would have to agree, leave enough of a buffer in funds to cover ebay fees, and 3-4 refunds. Withdraw in odd amounts, $334 $437 $553 and spread over a few days. Too much at a time on a new account can raise flags.

I also like to leave 3-4x the average amount to cover refunds in case. Odd amounts is a novel idea.
