Is is possible to use an Australian bank account with a USA paypal.

If not is there any way I could possibly get money from a USA paypal to a Australian bank.

I don't think you can add an Australian Bank account to a US Paypal. Your going to need to get a US Bank Account, I believe some banks allow foreigners to open bank accounts with the proper paper work.

of course, the minute you start logging into the account with a foreign IP address the account is going to get flagged...

PP looks for flags - IP from another country to a US account is a huge flag. Sadly, you cant use Australian bank with US PP

Part of the security issues with PayPal. Preferable for IP to match country of paypal

But what if you login to your PayPal account from another country (ie if you were to actually go abroad for business or on holiday with a laptop or whatever)?

With that scenario, you contact paypal.

We have far too many reports of users being limited while overseas and using a different IP. Last thing anyone would want.

Realize that if you contact them in advance of travel plans, you could be hit with ID verification if your agent decides to exercise that request.

An email to paypal is usually sufficient to cover signing in from overseas.

I work from a practical point.

I run paypal accounts. By chance they are stealth.

I have every need to sometimes communicate with them to ensure I can use their services.

Doing that stops the need to risk VPS or other options to get my funds.
