Activity: 0% Longevity: 71% | | Banks that allow quick online account opening
Hey, does anyone know if StateFarm, Suntrust, USBank, HarrisBank or MBFinancial give you the privilege of making an account online in under 5 minutes after your initial account opening?
To explain more on what I mean by that, here's an example. When you open an initial bank account with BOA (as in you have at least one bank account with them and have it attached to your online banking username), you can apply for and create more accounts INSTANTLY online. I'm asking if StateFarm, Suntrust, USBank, HarrisBank or MBFinancial also has that method of multiple account opening. I know of about 5 other great banks that do and work excellently, but I want to know if these banks have the same method.

I know that they don't for their savings accounts since savings accounts aren't really as risky as checking accounts because of their purpose and limitations. Quote:

Notice how many people don't post great information publicly due to abuse and the possibility of EBPP catching on to it.

Chase and BOA work. eBay can't stop doing business with the larger banks, they have millions of customers. And stealthers only number in the hundreds, or low thousands.
Having said that, sometimes local banks can work best but when finding a good one, the information is not usually shared.

Wow, just signed up for one of them, US Bank, and they allow multiple account opening after you sign up. I also contacted customer service through chat for the rest and found out that the remaining four allow it. Not bad.
Also, after a certain amount of funds have been deposited and certain amount of transactions made across multiple accounts, you have to make sure you switch over to one of their business accounts to continue getting funds from EBPP or they'll close all of your bank accounts.

Right of any bank to do that.
Onus is on the customer to select the correct type of account in the first place.
Having a 'good' and working bank account is crucial to successful stealth. |

I love Chase. Great bank in general. Just made my first PP w/d last week. Everything was hunky dorey. I have 3 stealth accounts with Chase so far.

Once you have a Harris Bank account, you can make new accounts online in minutes - they will send you something to sign for in the mail. They will need your ID on file though - no treachery there.

+1 for HSBC, nearly instant online account opening once you have a basic account.

Here are the five banks that I know for sure that has immediate account opening after your initial account.
Citibank
Alliant Credit Union
Ally
HSBC
Bank of America
These banks also let you fund and use the account right away.
Also, with Ally and HSBC, be careful with them. When you have 5+ accounts with them and lots of money rolling in on their personal accounts, they hate it and try to close all of your accounts for it. When you make a certain amount, either change them to business accounts or move some of the accounts over to another bank.
