I had a 10 year old account once which was my original account, and towards the end i got a heap of vero strikes. They will do what they want to protect their own backs.
Your job is to operate your account in such a way as to not be flagged
All of those strikes can still damage your account in months to come. This can happen even if they are gone from your sellers' dashboard
