Default Has anyone used these US banks

Hi guys,

I have searched several post regarding Ally and Capital one 360 banks and noticed that they don't allow mismatch names. Sometimes they will even give you a call to ask you to stop receiving mismatch name deposit otherwise they'll close your account. So my question is, what if you add a stealth Paypal account using your complete matching name as it appear on these two banks, will it work? (giving SSN number will not be an option by the way)
Has anyone used Ally or Capital one 360 on a stealth Paypal that has the correct matching names? I really would like to get this confirmation.
Also, what if the address on the Paypal is different form the address on these banks, would that be a problem as long as the names match correctly?
Thanks.

Yes, If the names match it will work, I have used Capital One 360 with matching names.

The Bank has no way of knowing what address is on file with Paypal...just the name. As long as the Names match it will work fine.

As I have mentioned before in other threads dealing with banks....
All Banks, Prepaid Cards require REAL information...Real Name, Real Address, Real SSN#.

That's great info MM78, glad you could help clarifying it.

Be aware of issues with ALLY.

Avoid them if possible.

Ally only has personal accounts, no business accounts, therefore even if the names matched, eventually they will shut you down if you have multiple account with them receiving paypal because you're conducting "business" on their "personal" accounts.

Oh my... Ally is that bad and I though Capital One 360 was worst because ING used to be one of the toughest. (luckily one member has success with it)

@Ayusaga, how about if you happen to have just a saving and checking with Ally and decide to receive Paypal on one of them. Wouldn't it still be safe? If not then why would that be. (Remember the Paypal is stealth and just has the correct name)

Yeah it should be safe if you're only doing it on one account. It'll look as if you're just getting direct deposit, which won't raise any flags with them. I also heard a while back that when you have a "business" paypal account, deposits and withdrawals show on the bank statements/transactions as your paypal's business name rather than the paypal account holder's first and last name. Not sure if it still does that or not, though.

Hope they don't do that anymore. I'm more likely to use a personal account instead of business though but I'll take note. Tx

Hi rsot, what other type of issues that can happen from these banks besides the name matching issue? I would like to learn, any info would be appreciated.
Remember we're only making direct deposit and no large deposit amounts that will require xtra verifications.

Some banks complain about business transactions being conducted on personal accounts. Ally complains about business transactions, ING complains about name matching.

They can close out your accounts and deny you business as a last resort

ok but I would not be using a business Paypal account, it would be a personal account that matches the name completely since I heard that on a "business" paypal account, deposits and withdrawals show on the bank transactions as your paypal's business name rather than first and last name which some banks don't like. What do you think? Remember a member been successful with Capital One so far.

ALLY is still partially owned by the US Treasury. I would avoid them at all costs. They bought it during the Financial Crisis it was formerly GMAC (General Motors Acceptance Corporation).
