Is it what is described in the auction? Was the auction at all misleading? If it was then you are entitled to your money back. If it is as described and you just regret buying it, then you are not entitled to a refund.

You should also talk to the seller to try to resolve the issue

It will bring attention to your account if you raise it as a dispute. Down to you if you think its worth it or not.

Ok.. yes it's not as described the listing. It's for 12.00 I know it's not a lot but it's still money I can get back. Would it be problem escalating to paypal Claim?

i would just move on.
Try to talk to the seller?
Did you do that at least?
Depending on his feedback, he could bring you down.

Well he is 75% feedback now. People been giving negative feedback about it as well. So I think I would get my money back by PayPal if I raise it. What's the worst that could happen if I raise to paypal dispute?

Well, it COULD cause them to look more closely at your account. Did you contact the seller and ask for a refund? I would message the seller through eBay and tell him I was not satisfied with the product, point out a couple of whatever the issues are and ask for a refund. I'd add that I would NOT leave a negative if he agrees to the refund, but if not that I would open a case with eBay and then leave a negative.

Lastly, I can only say that if this is a SOLID account and I was selling on it, I would not take the risk of bringing scrutiny to it for $12. It costs me more than that to set up an account. I know this is ANNOYING, I've been there and done that. But every decision I make is a BUSINESS decision, based on what I feel is best for the account overall. In business, when your emotions get the better of you, YOU LOSE!

What have you done so far in regards to speaking to the seller?

What risks are you prepared to take for $12.00?

Do not demand of us to tell you what to do.

Decide yourself.

Get out of bed.
Get dressed (make sure you wear clean underwear)
Wash and brush teeth
Eat cornflakes for breakfast.
Watch some TV.
Contact seller stating you are unhappy with the item received and ask if he is willing to work with you to resolve.
Order some more crap from China.

Anything else you need advice on today?

Where did you get this idea? Of course you can claim stuff if there is problem EVEN as STEALTH BUYER.

The problem is you should NOT be claiming again and again - once in a while is ok...I have done it for TRUE reasons.

It's eB standard policy - dont abuse it

This is the first claim I put through on this account. Since a year and a half ago. I should escalate to PayPal dispute? He's been getting negatives and his feedback went from 100% to 74% now....

Everyones responses are telling you what to do.

Why would you put any scrutiny towards your account?

If you wish being flagged over $12 , then by all means, open a case and escalate it.

In the end, we can only give advice. It is up to each individual whether or not to take that advice. If Hockey12 feels so strongly about the issue that he or she is willing to take a risk, then that is his or her decision.

Why not just leave a negative feedback? $12 isn't much to fuss over unless you're sure you can win the case.
