Default Parcel Force not tracking??

I sent 3 VERY expensive items by parcel force yesterday and it is not tracking at all.
When i try track the parcel it says the following :

Quote:
We are currently unable to confirm that status of your parcel. Please check the number and try again. Please note that items sent over 4 months ago cannot be tracked online. If you are tracking a parcel sent from outside of the UK, we may not have received it yet. Please try again or use the help button below.
I sent these a few hours before last pick up of the day for post.. but even if it was not picked up surely it should show as being scanned in?

It can take a couple of days for on-line tracking to update sometimes.

Absolutely! It costs enough so we should get the service. Even my hermes tracks and that is saying a lot...

On parcel force website :

It's a great value for money service, and for your peace of mind parcels are fully tracked from collection to delivery, at which point we also obtain an electronic signature

Has your buyer at least confirmed receipt of the items?

48-72 hours to update is not reasonable with Parcel Force?

The packages you really want to track may not be scanned until the final destination sorting facility; very annoying.

Sometimes they collect ParcelForce parcels well before 4pm, I remember queuing around 1:30pm at my local post office to drop off a ParcelForce parcel and the courier for them arrived to collect them while I was at the counter.

Also I know that if you pay for your ParcelForce label through PayPal postage, it will not show as scanned until the ParcelForce courier collect and scans it. If it was purchased from ParcelForce website or through post office, it will show as scanned when post office scans it.

Yes i went yesterday to complain to them showing them i gave it to them the day before and it did not show 'collected from customer' only after i came the following day they printed off there logs to show me it had been collected the same day i dropped it off. However 'mysteriously' it started tracking 10 minutes after i left the post office saying it was collected that day... which is a whole day later after they collected it...now it says 'collected from customer'' how do you explain that?

I have just stopped using these "so-called" convenient links for Parcelforce through Paypal, because the tracking service is just lousy. I called Parcelforce customer services after not being able to track an urgent 24-hour parcel delivery 5 days late, and was told there is nothing we can do.

I tried the tracking system for each day 7 days on their site and nothing except that standard message. Parcelforce did not even know where it was when I called them, so will I use them for anything urgent or expensive? I complained to Paypal and their response was we cannot do anything (except endorse the Parcelforce service through your website links and tracking numbers alongside your order history), but refer you back to Parcelforce. Parcelforce just say we don't know where it is, sorry.

What a lousy service and state of affairs - I would not trust these jokers to deliver me my morning paper, nevermind anything urgent or god-forbid actually worth even a few pounds.

I posted couple items via Parcelforce last week, paid online through Parcel2go, dropped them off at local Post Office and had no tracking problems using them that way, tracking was good all the way.

I've had nothing but very bad experiences with Parcelforce. Its just not worth it.

Tracking is poor, items have been damaged, late delivery, parcels left in the rain and not signed for and in general very poor service.

Parcel2go website and UPS Express service is THE way to go.
Up to 30kg in weight and huge sizes, for £12 and full tracking and legit next day service.

Could not ask for a better service than UPS Express for UK mainland. International is as good and costs about £20. Superb stuff and I use them every week.

The best way to track Parceforce item by visiting the official website i.e - http://www.parcelforce.com/track-trace
You can also track the package from some good third party sites like I can recommend this one. Track parcelforce shipment status
