What does "Legal Entity" show for you?

I've noticed my "Legal Name" under "Legal Entity" is ma 3657. Lets say my real full name is matt art 3657.

Is this the way it should be listed? Ive gone through the tax setup half way again and it asked me my first and middle initial and then my last name.

I guess it is displaying my first and middle initial and then my last name, but thats not my legal name?

What does yours say? I would rather ask here first before contacting Amazon.

Your legal name, for IRS purposes and verification, should be exactly what is on file with the IRS.

If it is your Social Security Number, then it should be EXACTLY the same as on your social security card. For example, "Joe Smith" is NOT the same as "Joseph E Smith". If it does not match exactly, the verification will fail.

If it is your LLC or Corporation, then the legal entity name would be whatever you used when you filled out the application for the EIN. It should be listed EXACTLY as filed. For example "IBM" is NOT the same as "International Business Machines, Incorporated".

hrm, Amazon has a line "*First and middle initial".

I take that as my first and middle initial. Do they mean first name and middle initial?
