Default Does receiving a payment after limitation reset the 180 day cycle?

I have an account that was limited a while ago, and the 180 days is up July 30th. One of my previous buyers wanted to buy several more items, and has offered to pay me $900 outside of ebay, direct to my paypal account.

I logged in and checked the limitation, and it says I can still receive payments. Would I be able to accept his payment today, and then withdraw everything on July 29th, or would receiving a payment "renew" the 180 day waiting period?

Technically for limited PP accounts, you cant receive money after 21 days have passed - how do you have 180 day period up on the 30th but still want to have money coming in? Should have been blocked for payment reception ages ago...have you logged in to see?

MM78's idea is a very good one. Make sure you don't get the second one limited as well though.

Did you ever reply to paypal that you were not going to resolve the issues?

If not, that may be why you still have the 'receive payments' option..

Let us know.

BTW, you would not consider letting that buyer go near your accounts. $900 is 899 good reasons to avoid a damaged paypal.

If indeed you can still receive payments, then glitch is likely in effect. Still...while weird, I would not have more money coming into this defunct pp - why bother even risking having more money tied up for 180 more days?!?
