Suspended January 2013 .. filed for appeal
So I have been suspended permanently on January 2013 and I thought there was no way I can get back to selling so thought nothing of it.. However, Today I wanted to see if maybe ebay policies has changed and I'm able to somehow get my account back and contacted ebay but got this message while clicking the call link.
"Due to a history of high-risk selling behavior, you're permanently restricted from selling on eBay. If you have questions regarding this permanent selling restriction, please see review the eBay notice you received. "
I still went ahead and called to see if there was any options of appeal.. And just about when I was about to hang up and throw in the towel. The Rep mentioned that in some cases they will accept appeal and maybe even reinstate if it applies to certain conditions... One happened to be death of a family... And this occurred July 2012. And the performance in question was from August 2012 - January 2013 that determined my suspension. I was actually a caregiver for my grandma for 3 years and hear healh declined rapidly in the third year and juggling ebay and ths was quite hard and did affect my performance. The ebay rep considered this and told me to fax in proof of my employment and copy of death certificate with the state of Washington (which I will do ) and wondering what my chances of reinstatement will be? Thanks and I do miss my grandma!!!
