Dose any one know how to change the mac address on standard aol router and can you do it through wireless.

That is indeed what GB is on about . They are a lot easier to change the IP address on than your router would be. You can also use phone tethering.

Lots of business subscribe to the same providers consumers use. The businesses will get a bridged modem, because they do private networking.

So, request a bridged modem and have your own router to do all the fun stuff and you are in business. If you find a rep who does not know what a bridged modem is, tell them you want a dummy modem.
