Hello, I see you guys are very helpful and help is what I need! . So I sell items that basically get emailed to the buyer for a small price ($2-6), therefore I never have tracking information and what not.
So I had a buyer that left negative feedback but after a few messages agreed to change it. I sent a feedback revision but the buyer claims they can't get it work, and it's saying the listing ended and they have tried multiple times. They were replying so I do believe them.
I got the buyer to send me a message saying "problem solved with seller, please revise feedback", now my question is, if I contact eBay and ask them to revise it, will they look at my account and ban me since I am selling these kinds of items?
Or will they just look at the proof and not care?

I would not risk it myself. There is no knowing exactly what eBay will do if they look at your account.

I agree with JamesNorth101. I wouldn't risk it. eBay does not really like digitally delivered goods.

Agree with both posters.
There is the issue of using your feedback revision but also a more important one of allowing ebay to 'look' at your account.
Digitally delivered goods are not liked by ebay.
For the future, there are options you should consider for selling these items. Important to know and implement them. |

OP, buyer stated that he/she cant get the revision to work - let it be. You gave it a shot. Make more good sales to outweigh the negative feedback.

Ultimately, the decision is yours. You need to weigh the risk of contacting eBay reps (which can put your account under more scutiny)...or live w/ the neg feedback.
A neg feedback does not hurt you as much as you would think.

Guys! Got a quick little problem, out of the bloom the buyer asked me "did they fix it", he assumed that by him sending that message about the problem being solved that it would be fixed, what do I do? What if he contacts eBay for me ?! Help lol

Your average ebay buyer is like an infant. They can't read properly and have an attention span of about 5 minutes.

Wow some buyers have no honesty, after the buyers pays, I send them their item literally seconds after they pay via a eBay message, then I mark it as shipped so I can get my funds ASAP, most leave positive feedback saying "thank you fast delivery, A++ seller, then a few days later they open a case saying that they didn't receive their item, or they need an update on the shipping info. It sucks since I cant do either lol. I have too refund everytime to avoid any trouble, anyone have any suggestions?

Only advise would be to stop selling non tangible goods, or send the digital goods on a USB stick to the customer.

Help lol | Solved with communication that you are still working out the options - if it has been more than 7 days that you sent out the buyer feedback revision request. the revision will have expired.

By now you now, ebay frowns on digital items.
Why have you not considered sending out a CD?
Do you know of that option? |

Actually I have never heard of that, how will that work when I am sending an item through eBay? I sell like 30 a day too btw, thanks again!

Burn the digital information onto a CD and the post the CD to the buyers house.

Sorry to bump but have another question, so a few buyers haven't paid in like 4 days, I opened cases and 1 buyer called me out on selling my items, I quickly apologized and closed the case, then marked the item as paid, so he doesn't get a strike. With this in mind , I closed the other cases with "marked item as paid", now will they contact me asking where is their item even though they didn't pay? I am fine with paying the little final value fee for marking the item as paid.
