Ebay charged me for a return I never got back

Ebay gave the buyer their money back for an item I sold but never got it back from the buyer. This happened about three years ago. Of course I lost the appeal. Now they keep sending me emails to pay or they will turn it over to collections. Can they hurt my credit?

Is it for the price of the item or associated fees?

They could end up marking your credit file in the USA if this is a real account.

I think it may be that they are trying to claim back for the full cost of the refund, not just the fees.

Pending thewebshopper's reply, if no credit hit has happened by now then unlikely...but with PP you can never be 100% sure. How much is the amount involved?

Just if u dont pay the invoice , ebay will limited your account until u pay the amount . If 3 year ago i thought suspend already , hows it now ?

It was three years ago. They are trying to make me pay the full amount they refunded to the buyer. I never got my stuff back. I had a real account. They killed the account back then.

3 years - doesnt deserve a call in...but true, real info on the account - did you check your credit OP...make sure you havent been hit?
