Default About A-Z claim

Hello guys.

I got a AZ claim recently, buyer complained item is not same with description and wanted to get refund. I agreed with him and let him return item to and then I will refund him full money. But after AZ claim closing, customer never returned item to me and I lose the claim , had to refund full money to him.

I sent message to customer but never got his response. I have to ask Amazon to help me to get item, but Amazon just let me contact this buyer.

I don't know how to get back my item from this buyer.

It's too late for that now, but in the future, you sometimes have a better shot at getting the item back if you provide your own shipping label.

If your description wasn't the same as the item, you cannot expect a buyer to pay for the return shipping if you want that item back.

Email them the prepaid shipping label and then provide that tracking number in the A-to-z claim response. Simply state that you agree to do the full refund, that you have paid for the return shipping, and are waiting to receiving the item back.

Thats the deal with A-to-Z claim - customer not obligated to return item...you have to be very detailed in your sales post

If you made a true honest mistake in the listing, then send the buyer a return label and offer a few bucks in return for his effort, like 10$ or 10% of the item when you get it back. Amazon allows you to refund more then the purchase price.

Make sure to cover yourself in future.

Help the buyer but avoid losing money. Send shipping labels etc

Agree with the principle GB but if an A-to-Z claim is filed and CLOSED in buyer's favour...he has no reason to return the item...cant do much if closed in buyer's favour
