Final Value Fee Credit/Refund

Can you guys tell me how you go about when a buyer (and yourself) agree to issue a refund? You go to paypal and go to the details of the transaction and go to issue a refund and follow it to the end. Now, hoping that I am issuing a refund correctly, how do I receive a credit or refund for the final value fee that was charged on that item? Thanks

You don't get FVF credit by just refunding at paypal, you also have to cancel the transaction through eBay also and the customer has to agree to cancel the transaction

toml3030 is correct - you have to cancel the transaction UNLESS ...if the buyer has opened a claim case and you agree to have the refund done, then the FVF is automatically annulled.
