Payphone for verification

Today i verified my new ebay account with a payphone down the road, I obtained the payphone number and selected the ''call me in 2 minutes option'' on ebay and ran down the road to the payphone. I answered when ebay rang, and using the dialing tone from my mobile i was able to dial the requested number having held my handset to the mic on the payphone! THey gave me my verification code and i am up and selling on that account.

I then changed the payphone number to my mobile phone number- so if they call i can pick up. Is this going to work?

Lol, I've heard of a few members doing this already. And from what they've said, it works.

Emm, but don't reuse your mobile number for more then one account, that'll link accounts.
