Default Customer can't pay without registering with Paypal?

So I have this customer who wanted to pay with his credit card but Paypal asks him to register first. Is he doing something wrong or PP no longer accepts payments without registering first?

Or perhaps my PP Account has to be business or something to accept credit card payments?

That's usually for merchant payapl accounts like I have. Upgrade to merchant it's a breeze. Having a merchant account protects if your ebay ever gets suspended, payapl won't suspend it because it's used for other biz besides ebay. Nice exploitable loop hole.

Care to expand on how a user based overseas and not the USA will get a merchant account?

Cant recommend that members here rely on this statement 100% - any PP account can go down, business or otherwise

That buyer may already has used up his 'guest' paypal buying.

I had that on an experiment I tried.

According to Paypal, Premier and Business accounts can accept credit card payments. So I really don't know what's wrong with my accounts not accepting CC payments, since all are Premier.

This is one reason I always block anyone who does not have a paypal account from bidding on my items.

Under buyer requirements.
