Default PayPal limited, used on own Webshop, linking new PayPal to webshop or not?

Ok, so my old PayPal account was limited. I had linked that PayPal account to my unfinished webshop. I have removed it from my webshop.

But can I now link a new stealth PayPal account to the same webshop, or will that link my accounts, even though the old one is removed and was not used to make or receive payments?

Even though the old one was not used, it still had some association so the link MAY exist...I would play on the safe side and not risk it...PP is VERY tidy and detailled about linking - dont be surprised if you try and you get limited...

WHy do they have so much power and control.... damnit.

First my Amazon account gets suspended for NO REASON. I had 100% positive feedback and only sold authentic items, I did cancel a few orders in the beginning (by mistake), that might have been the reason - but it's still a BS reason to ban someone.

Then my eBay and PayPal gets limited... I am just a 18 year old trying to make some extra, now I have 23K$ of stock lying around. Need to get back on them eBay asap. Why are they making it so difficult for people... I hope European Union approves some new laws which limits the power of these companies !

That's why you can do stealth to get back in.

For your website, I would look into CCNow...this service accepts pp payments from customers without needing your own...

Hey,

Thanks for your reply. About CCNow:

Does this mean that they'll integrate the checkout for you?
Meaning customers can pay using credit cards/paypal, without needing my own PayPal account or Payment Gateway Merchant accounts? That would be a great solution... Do you have experience with it?

Hey,

I managed to remove the website URL from my PayPal.
I have also changed my address, removed phone numbers, removed additional addresses and removed all linked eBay accounts.

Do you think I can use my real address now that I have updated my PayPal account with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ addresses? (The one which was suspended)

Yes CCNow works like that - you can invoice a buyer to use their PP and all you need for CCNow is bank...think US though.

GB`s advice is sound about `NO`s.

Thanks, I e-mailed them today. I hope everything works out. Their client agreements seems a bit strange. I hope I don't make any mistakes lol.

Has anyone here ever used CCNow as their ''authorized retailer'' (you can't refer to them as payment gateway xD ).

Client agreement;

I can't install CCNow, they can't integrate it yet...

My best option would be PayPal, but I am afraid I will be linked.
What if I use a different company name in PayPal and don't provide the url (that is possible, you don't need to provide the webshops URL).

But the source of payment would be your website, right?

Yep... What if I change the URL? What is it that links my website to PayPal, is it the URL/domain name or is it something else?

The ecommerce platform doesn't accept CCNow, I wish they did, that would have been a good solution.

Does anyone know about other alternatives for CC/PayPal payment (via payment gateway/processor) besides PayPal, CCNow or Payza, which doesn't require a lot of set-up (business registration number, VAT, etc. I'm just doing this as a 'side' thing, I am a student, so I can't apply for that in this country).

A lot of other payment processors/gateways require those details, like 2co and Authorize.net.

:(

Ok, I just checked the PayPal settings on the ecommerce platform, and there are a few different ways you can integrate PayPal on your website.

If you want to use PayPal advanced, you need to link your webstore to PayPal. They have described a 4 step set-up process, with unique URL and ID, and Merchant Login.

I never did this (linking) when I first signed up for PayPal. I only entered my PayPal e-mail address, and I also never received payments since my webshop wasn't (and still isn't) even live yet!

So the ecommerce website is the only platform that knows my old PayPal address.

How can there be a link if one of the 2 parties involved was never linked? I think I'll take my chances...
