created new account, when i tried to list, it said they need to verify my phone number. i thought they only need to verify if you changed computers? my computer is the same and i didnt delete any cookies. are they calling all sellers no matter what?

hi, even on a 5 month old account that i just made a sellers account last week they called when i listed the first item to confirm identity, it was no big deal, just enter a code.
