Default NEW eBay's Rules: MC999 Your eBay account is restricted

Hi all,
From this month, ebay has changed their policy? I have 10 accts when relist and got MC999 Restricted (ask to call within 48h), all accts 4-6 months, and sold over 10 transaction. So now I think I will get Restricted for any account (NEW or OLD) when I try to list.
Happened to everyone???

Even if it happens somicaro, it isnt so hard to get over these days...well, also depending on what you sell (high risk, vero, etc. - or not)

Why do you think an 'old' account would have a problem?

Have you been using the account?

Many things have an explanation. Maybe we can help there.

A little more info please.

These are old accounts that you hadn't listed on in 6 months?

Did you move, are you using a new computer? Are you in the US?

I sell on 2-3 new accounts each Sunday night and never get an MC999.

Something is triggering you getting these if you are getting multiples of the MC999s.

BTW: what's the point of starting a thread on the forum about an issue you're having, and then you don't come back to answer questions and get the solution?

You were just bored and felt like posting one day, but not important enough to follow up on?

No offense, you're not the only one, it just seems pretty common nowadays, and gives little motivation for vets here to help with issues.

And not even a "thanks" for solving the issue! But no gripes here...I gain far more from this forum then I give back. (Even though I try to give back alot).

⊗⊗⊗⊗ address is like riding on nitroglycerin. You never know when your account will hit a bump, but when it does, it goes poof!

I get this a lot lately, they want answer today and wont give the courtesy of a thanks or even when they learn they wont give back to others on the forum.

Some people want everything handle to them on a silver platter and once you help them no thanks and they are gone.

When I tell people that I spent no less then 4 hours a day every day here when I first came to the forum they ask why? But then still come back with help me do this and help me do that. I spent a ton of my own time helping many through pms they send and not one thanks from a single sole.

A vet here told me when I asked a question in a pm when I first came here and they told be to earn my own keep like everyone else and read until your eyes bleed and stop expecting answers it took other countless hours and years to learn. So I did, I spent 4 hours a day here reading and contributing.

The give mes of the world can be spotted a mile away demanding answers like we owe them something. Drives me nuts.

Got one pm telling me you have not answered all 8 of my questions. Why not?

I do not mind helping someone with an issue at all but to demand eight questions be answered and then ask why did you not answer in detail all eight is flat out selfish.

NO

Has not happened to everyone who spend time here reading.

I sell on tons of accounts and never an MC999.

Whatever you are listing or something you are doing wrong is triggering it.

It has nothing to do with the seller if you brought the account at all because you would have to trigger a review or something to even get this.

Whatever you are doing you need to think long and hard because you are making one mistake after another.

@Sandy...Agree 100%.
I constantly see threads of people demanding answers or wanting everything served to them but never ever contribute to the forum.

Pull your collective heads in .

OP has not been back on line to follow up.

Gripe in a week's time if you must.

OP is a subscriber. He has started with his contributions to the forum.

Like some of the responses are stellar too.

'Lots of posts on the topic'..... go read them.

There is a bad mixture that comes and goes within the forum.

Seasoned users are bored with giving the same responses.

Newcomers get slapped in the face & need to be encouraged to learn to contribute.

BAH.
