Default How Do I sell DVD TV Shows on Amazon?

I know that selling DVDs is dangerous and can cost you jail time if your source is bad and the DVDs are ⊗⊗⊗⊗. I don't want to sell ⊗⊗⊗⊗ DVDs or TV shows. How do I sell copyrighted TV shows, and where can I get them? Can you actually find any good sources in DHgate.com or Alibaba.com?

What about eBay and paypal? If you do buy on DHgate and Alibaba where do you tell paypal and ebay that your source is?

I don't want to get into trouble by the FBI or any thing like that. I want to run an honest business.
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!

All of the TV stuff on DHGate and Alibaba are bootlegs from China. Don't sell them they make things bad for everyone.

I usually find my TV shows at pawn shops....

Finding DVds and the like from dhg ate is not genuine business. You need to find wholesale sources - few threads and posts about reliable wholesalers. One that comes to mind is Ingram but you need an account with them.

Read the Wholesale thread,,I Posted Many Legit Sources that I use for that,,,RSOT though is Correct in that if you want to deal with a Legit Company you Yourself need to be a Legit company in order to open up an account,,you are going to need a Tax Resale certificate issued to you by your Companies Home State,,

There is a Little bit more to it than just Buying and selling, But it is worth the Peace of Mind,,,

There are three major distributors for DVD's in the USA: Ingram Entertainment, Baker & Taylor and SuperD (although SuperD is more music-focused).

You must be a legitimate business to open an account with them. At minimum, you will need a resale tax-id number, which Slapped mentioned you can get from the revenue department in the state in which you reside.

SuperD will even drop-ship for you, but requires a $1,000 minimum deposit.

HOWEVER - understand that as a small guy, you won't be able to compete with the larger sellers on Amazon. You won't be able to get anywhere near the lowest price for the more popular titles. You would have to specialize.

I applaud the fact that you don't want to sell counterfeits, that is a smart move. But DVD's are a tough market to crack PRECISELY because everyone wants to be in it. Small sellers who are successful on eBay and Amazon have found a niche - one that is profitable with minimal competition. That takes a lot of research, but the rewards can be worth it.
