Default Reaching receiving limit

Is it safe to get very close to an annual receiving limit? Do they ask for verification after I reach this limit or just before or 200$ before or what?

paypal sends a notice before the limit is reached.

EG, in the UK, a notice can be sent out around the £1650 mark.

If you are using paypal for Poland, I recall your limit is 2500 or 3000 euros? I think notice of warning comes around 2000euros.
Notice tells you. Usually gives you a certain number of days to comply

Not safe to hit the upper limits whether receiving or sending. Use stealth to spread your risk and operate several accounts OP

So if they send me a notice before the limit is reached, will I be able to withdraw the funds? Or is it just an early notice and this doesn't change anything - I can still operate as normal until limit is reached?

You can withdraw right up to the point the account gets limited.

Sorry I might misunderstood your answer. You mean I can withdraw right up to the receiving limit? Because I already know I can't withdraw if account gets limited.

If your accounts gets a documentation request, you can literally BET that it is limited...you won't be able to withdraw the funds for 180 days (in general)

So the best option would be leaving account at about equivalent of 500$ before upper limit?
Thanks for the answers.

EDIT.
Just found this thread: http://www.aspkin.com/forums/ebay-pa...ing-limit.html
And the OP is saying that even though he got a notice at €1,800 before maximum €2,500 he was still able to withdraw funds.

If your limits is €2500, then you can make withdrawls all the way up to €2500.

As soon as you hit €2501 you will have issues.

Not wise to let it run above €2100 IMO without removing these limits. Tempting fate too much for my liking.
